IPVN Appoints New Vice President of Marketing

March 1, 2009 - Jarrod Hammes will assume the role of Vice President of Marketing. Hammes brings a decade of broadcast technology experience to IPVN, and will lead the immediate expansion of global markets and partnerships for the Path 1 division. "As IPVN develops new technology for broadcast and cable/IPTV markets, Jarrod's expertise will be essential in shaping our strategy and leveraging our brand," said Bob Coackley, CEO of IPVN. Hammes holds an MBA from the Rady School of Management at the University of California, San Diego, and previously maintained marketing roles at Motorola and Path 1 Network Technologies, Inc.

Path 1 Launches New Web Portal

Path 1 Receives VSF Award for Contribution to SMPTE 2022 Standard

February 13, 2009, Path 1, a division of IPVN, received the Video Services Forum (VSF) award at the annual VidTrans conference, February 2009. This award symbolizes the contribution of Path 1 members to the Pro-MPEG COP#3, which ultimately led to the development and ratification of the highly regarded SMPTE 2022-2007 standard. The SMPTE standard is the basis of interoperability for professional MPEG-TS over IP networks. Path 1's products support SMPTE 2022 and are deployed in broadcast networks worldwide.

Path 1 Launches New Web Portal

January 7, 2009, Path 1's new web portal is designed to facilitate easier access to materials and information for global partners. The new product-centric site shines a spotlight on the Path 1 RoHS compliant IP Video Gateways, while leveraging closer communication with partners and customers. "We are excited about our growth into new markets in 2009. Our new web site helps forge our increased commitment to our customer and reseller relationships as we expand our global presence", says Bob Coackley, CEO. The new portal goes online January 8, 2009.

New Vice President of Sales

January 5, 2009,Path 1 brings Andrew Caples on board, as Vice President of Sales, to lead the charge into an exciting year of television technology for 2009. Andrew, most recently the World Wide Director of Sales at Wind River, brings 15 years of Sales, Sales Management, and Engineering expertise to help build new and strong relationships in the global broadcast and cable markets.

IPVN CEO Bob Coackley says, "I am looking forward to having Andrew on our team as we expand Path 1's IP technology footprint. He is a key player in our global relationship management, and an advocate of collaborative innovation."
